Fix warranty creation, access, and upload problems
Resolve allowance, permission, validation, missing-record, and file problems without creating duplicate warranties.
Cannot activate a warranty
- Check that you are an Owner, Admin, or Staff member in the intended workspace.
- Review required customer/product fields, the phone country, purchase date, terms, and a whole-number duration from 1 to 120 months.
- Wait for the product image upload to finish. A file error can keep the activation control unavailable.
- If the allowance is exhausted, check Plan & billing with the Owner. Existing warranties remain available; voiding does not free a place.
A save seemed to fail
Before submitting a second warranty, search Warranties for the customer or product. The warranty may have saved before an optional file or notification failed. Open the existing record and retry the missing file there.
If the record changed while saving, refresh and review the current values before retrying. A void warranty cannot be edited or extended.
Warranty not found
Confirm the workspace, clear search/status filters, and use the original complete URL if opening a public warranty. Technicians only see assigned warranties. A wrong workspace or unavailable assignment can make a record appear missing. Contact the Owner or issuer if those checks do not explain it.
Files and photos
Reusable product images must be JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. Warranty files also support PDF, with at most 10 attachments. Check whether a selected image simply lacks a preview before uploading again. Open a saved file from the current record rather than an old temporary download link.
Offline or persistent errors
Reconnect before trying to load or save records. If storage, account access, or the workspace remains unavailable, contact Warly with the exact error, screen, time, and browser. Keep customer files and credentials out of the initial support message.
