Warranty management for electronics stores
A customer returns with a laptop that will not charge. Find the warranty for that unit, check the coverage recorded at sale and review earlier service before the next inspection.
Free includes 25 lifetime warranties. Eligible workspaces can choose a 14-day Pro trial without a credit card.Keep similar devices distinct
Two phones with the same model name can have different owners, purchase dates and service histories. Record a serial number where available and confirm it against the item at the counter. Warly keeps product identifiers on the merchant warranty record and shows a masked serial on the public page. Use the private record for a precise match; do not treat a product photo or the customer’s name as proof that this is the same device.
Prepare repeat products without repeating the whole sale
Use catalog products for commonly sold laptops, phones and accessories. Review their warranty duration and terms when issuing each record, then add the sale-specific details. A catalog photo can help staff recognize the model; a warranty product photo can provide item context. CSV import prepares catalog entries, not past issued warranties or a synchronized stock inventory.
Make the handoff usable after unboxing
Share the issued warranty link or print its QR on the warranty card. Explain that it opens the product’s record and store contact information. A buyer may throw away a phone box, so do not make packaging the only way back to support. Warly lets the store find the customer and warranty again if the customer loses the link. The scan opens an issued record; it is not device activation or manufacturer registration.
Work through a repeat charging fault
Consider a fictional laptop sale followed by a charging-port repair. On the next return, open the correct warranty and read the earlier service description and parts entry. If the customer submits an online claim under an eligible plan, review its issue and evidence separately. After the inspection, add the new service entry and update the claim outcome. A repair entry does not close a claim or reset warranty dates automatically.
- Confirm the unit and issued terms before promising a remedy.
- Keep technician observations in the merchant workspace.
- Record a refund outcome only after handling any payment through your payment process.
Set realistic expectations for the store
Warly fits the warranty record and after-sales history around an electronics sale. It does not diagnose devices, synchronize POS stock, authenticate products or automate manufacturer RMAs. Service history remains in the merchant workspace, while the public warranty page and linked Customer Portal provide their own limited views. Team and online claims workflows require eligible plans; core issuance can start on Free.
