Void a warranty
Mark an issued warranty void while preserving its history.
Before voiding
Only Owners and Admins can void a warranty. Voiding marks coverage as Void and cannot be undone in the current interface. Check that you have opened the correct record and that editing or extending it is not the action you need.
Void the warranty
- Open the warranty from Warranties.
- Select Void and read the confirmation.
- Enter a clear Reason for voiding and confirm.
What changes
The public page shows Void. The same public URL and QR code continue to open the record. New online claims are unavailable for a void warranty, and the warranty’s product details, terms, and coverage cannot be edited or extended.
The record, existing history, and issuance usage remain. Voiding does not delete the warranty, erase existing claims, or free an allowance place. Warly currently has no merchant Delete warranty action; contact support about a mistaken void or a privacy request.
