Review product performance and claim analytics
Compare products and categories, interpret claim rankings, and inspect contributing claims.
Compare products or categories
Catalog-linked warranties are grouped by their saved product association. Products entered without a catalog selection are grouped using name, brand, model, and SKU. Similar names alone do not guarantee that records form one product group.
- Open Reports, then Products or Categories.
- Set the dates in the displayed timezone and comparison. Select product or category filters if needed, then Generate report.
- Compare Warranties issued, Claims opened, and Claim rate together. Use the row or metric links offered to inspect contributing records.
- Use the table page controls for more results. Bar charts show up to 12 results on the displayed page, not the entire report.
Choose a product ranking
Minimum ranking sample defaults to 30 warranties and can be set from 10 to 10,000. An empty ranking may mean no product meets its conditions. Treat rankings as prompts to investigate, considering product mix and how long the warranties have been observed.
- Most warranted and Most claimed rank volume. A popular product can have many claims while still having a low claim rate.
- Highest cohort claim rate and Lowest cohort claim rate compare the share of issued warranties with claims. Low-sample products are placed after eligible samples; review their sample warning.
- Fastest-rising cohort rate requires a positive increase and sufficient warranty samples in both periods. It compares percentage-point increases.
- Unusually high cohort rate requires the minimum sample, at least five claimed warranties, and a rate both more than twice the filtered overall rate and more than five percentage points above it.
Investigate claims
Approval rate is recorded approval decisions divided by recorded approval plus rejection decisions in the period. Rejection rate uses rejection decisions over that same total. Repeat decisions count separately; current claim status is not a substitute for decision history. Days to first claim measures elapsed time from warranty creation to its first matching claim, not from the purchase date.
- Open Claims in Reports and review Claims opened alongside Pending and recorded decisions.
- Use Breakdown for products, categories, customers, statuses, outcomes, or other available views.
- Follow available contributing-record links and open the underlying claim to review the issue. Manage its status from the claim screen.
