Request and review customer access or email changes
Use issuer approval when contact is missing and request a verified email for an eligible warranty.
Two different requests
Claim access requests are offered when an eligible warranty has no recorded email or phone. A request to add an email is offered in the Claim Center after the available verification for a warranty without email. Both need the issuer’s decision; neither is approval of the product claim itself.
Request access with no recorded contact
- Open the warranty’s Claim Center. Sign in to your customer account first if you want an approved request linked to that account.
- Enter your name, contact information, and an explanation that lets the issuer identify you.
- Select Request access to claim. Keep the request page open and check its status after the issuer reviews it.
- If approved, continue to the claim form. If rejected or the access grant is no longer available, contact the issuer.
Ask to add an email
- After verifying the available Claim Center method, expand Add an email to this warranty when offered.
- Enter your email and select Verify email.
- Enter the received code and select the action asking the issuer to add it.
- Wait for issuer approval. Verifying the address alone does not change the warranty.
Review requests as the business
- As an Owner, Admin, or Staff member, open Claims and find Customer requests.
- Review whether the request is Claim access request or Add email to warranty, and check the requester against your records.
- Choose Approve or Reject. A decided request cannot be decided again.
- For an approved email request, check the associated customer and warranty. The requested email is applied to that warranty and customer record; it does not rewrite all past warranties.
Limits and consequences
Only one pending access request is allowed for a warranty. An email already associated with another customer can block approval; review the customer records first. Technicians can view claim requests but cannot decide them.
An approved signed-in access request can link the warranty to that customer account. Request-decision emails are sent when an email is available and delivery succeeds. If the warranty is Expired, Void, or the issuer cannot accept claims, contact the issuer directly.
